In Search of the Truth (Truth Booth)
Hank Willis Thomas, Ryan Alexiev and Jim Ricks of the Cause Collective developed In Search of the Truth (The Truth Booth), a mobile interactive video recording booth open to the public that asks participants to look into a camera and finish the statement “The truth is…” In September 2015, Project& debuted The Truth Booth in Chicago as part of the inaugural Project&/EXPO CHICAGO Collaboration Focused on Social Aesthetics.
For this debut, Project& invited local organizations from across Chicago to share their diverse passions and confessions of what matters most to them. The Cause Collective is now in the midst of developing a short film that allows us all to listen in on the incredible truths that Chicago has to offer.
