Organization: Project&.
This past Labor Day, Project&’s first radio piece, “Working, Then and Now” debuted on NPR’s All Things Considered. It included a revisit of Studs Terkel’s seminal 1974 book “Working: People Talk About What they Do All Day and How They Feel About What They Do,” never-before-aired raw audio interviews, and an exploration of what it means to work in America today. You can also listen to it on the Radio Diaries site. This piece is a Project& and Radio Diaries co-production.

This co-production is part of Project&’s ongoing “Working in America” series, which includes a large scale traveling photo exhibit by Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Lynsey Addario. To learn more about “Working in America,” click here.
